Florida's playbook has a good number of compression sets... a lot of shotgun but you might want to check it out. It has ace tigh, ace bunch TE, shotgun bunch, shotgun tight, and shotgun flip trips... maybe one for but it's not coming to me.

I agree Florida has some good compression sets, too bad most of them are from the shotgun formation.

I am not a huge fan of the shotgun formations. Although I would like to have a few in my playbook, particularly when it rains blitz .. :D

Thanks for sharing your preferred PBs guys. I'll definetly check them out again. Keep them coming.

BTW, I like Nevada's PB coz' it has good compression plays from the Pistol formation and decent counter running plays.

I've not seen that PB before. After seeing your post I checked it out, looks pretty good. Btw, if you like that playbook then you may also like the USC playbook, do check it out (if you haven't already).

Current gen refers to the ps2 and xbox versions of the game. Next gen refers to the xbox 360 version of the game.

I know how you dont like shotgun Sets but Purdue has some good Compression ones. Since I pass alot I think USC's playbook is more for running imo,it doesnt really have enough shotgun sets for me.

Yes, I've checked out Purdue before. It definetly is a compression friendly PB. Interestingly it also has one Pistol formation if I remember correctly.

Since I started this thread let me sumarrize that list we have so far (in random order):

1. Nevada (Lots of Pistol formation, few SGs too)
2. Florida
3. New Mexico State
4. Purdue
5. USC (No SG)
6. West Coast (Few SG formations)

Feel free to suggest more, so that we can add to this list.

I must say that Nevada is a great pb for compression. It really gets the RB into the passing game, which can open up the offense completely.

PITT has quite a few compressions sets as well.
