I'm not sure which to get. I owned both this year but traded in the PS2 version. The graphics are much sharper on the PC but it lacks some features and can run a bit funky at times on the PC. From what I have read the PC is fully featured this year. I'd like the thoughts of some experienced players as to which one to get and why. Thanks

If you have an adequate system, then the PC vs. PS2 comparison in terms of game play is fairly close - though obviously the PS2 graphics are still a bit better.

You will get a few more animations on the PS2 (end-zone celebrations, etc.) but who knows - they might have actually showed the PC version some loooove this time around.

I have been playing on the PC since 2005 cuz I could not play online on from Europe on a PAL-based Xbox. This is now different with the Xbox 360, but I probably will stick to the PC version for one more year since Madden 07/360 is missing 3 crucial features: formation shifts, quick audibles & defensive playmaker - I cannot believe they did not manage to put those in.

So in summary, I can recommend the PC version.

My 2 cents.

Thanks for the reply. My sense is that the graphics are better on the PC version. I owned both versions this year and traded in the PS2 version because I found the specificaly the graphics are sharper and lighter in the PC version. The reason that I would consider the PS2 version this year has to do with features. But all of the indications I have seen thus far seem to indicate that the PC version will be a fully versions last gen version.

This is not true. The PC version is MUCH better than the PS2 in terms of graphics. In 2006, the PC version had all of the features of the PS2/Xbox versions. I suspect the same will be the case for 2007, minus a few end zone celebrations.
