how do we stop tony gonzalez if there is no double te play in the nickel and dime formations, and we can't even play bump and run on him without making everyone play bump and run.

I was not trying to be smart. If you play a base man 2 deep D you can play with the saftey and you have a man on the TE and you can help over the top. The best route for the TE(IMO) is a corner or post. That's what i've seen most people do. Play action TE on a corner route. Go into practice mode and pick some plays that have the TE runnning thosr routes and see what works best for you. I've had more luck with man D so far this year. I played some zone on this guy last night and he torched it. I think the big thing on the 360 is don't let the computer do anything. If you want to stop something you have to do it yourself.

If I have to play man to man D manually on the tight end all game long then I pretty much have taken myself out of the game.

A simple defensive assignment would be so frickin nice.
