On your Depth Chart, set your FB as the 3DRB (3rd down RB) and make him block. This works well from 4 wide sets when all you have is your Oline for blocking.
If your team has a decent FB you can also line up in a pass formation and still run for the 3rd & shorts.

I tried it a couple times, but i found that, i didnt like what i saw from the defense, so i audibled to a swing pass out of the backfield while the rest went deep, and finn was wide open 3 times, but dropped 2 of the passes. Though it is golden on pass protection, he does a way better job then tiki. He just gets run over.

Exactly, it's money for pass protection. Especially if you're using a team with a smaller HB.

Putting the TE back there is even better. Better catch, taller, better blocker.

It won't allow you to put a TE as "3DRB" on the Depth Chart, it must be a back... now if you convert your TE to a FB you could...
So has anyone else tried this? Really interested on your thoughts since it's a new concept, i'd like to know if it's something i'm just being lucky with or if it's working for everyone across the board....

There's a package that allows you to do this on some formations (not sure which, but I've seen it on a few).
It probably works great for pass protection, but I'd hate having my FB as my RB for every third down.

I thought that at first too, which is why i never tried it before but the more i thought about it - why not? When do I run on third downs? Short yardage? Perfect for a FB. And how deceiving is that if your opp. notices the FB in for blocking then your run one right up the gut?
I'm kinda liking it so far and like i said in teh beginning, it's mostly aimed at peeps having problems with pass protection - this gives ya some help with 3 or 4 WR sets agianst a player with nice blitzes.

True,
I just put it in my depth chart or make the formation change. When i use NE, I put Graham in as FB in a couple of Formations

Ah, yea, there's a good idea too, use the Substitution thing and get your TE back there for certain formations - good one man... that may even be better. I wonder how good a TE would do running the ball on 3rd and 1?
Of course doing that puts him back there on every down, whereas the 3DRB only makes the substitution on third down, otherwise it's your starting HB in the backfield...
this is definitely an interesting concept for pass protection though.
