Yeah I know...It is pretty hard to take a punt return in for a touchdown. I bought Madden 07 8 or 9 days ago and out of all my punt returns, I still haven't been able to get a TD yet. Same with 06, they made 07 hard to return for TD's. I guess its somewhat realistic, but it shouldn't be impossible like last years version. The blocking has improved from Madden 2006 and I will eventually get a TD return from a punt. Can someone tell me what the best return play call is though? The best I can find is just the regular PR Middle. The Superstar mode now is quite different and yet the same as 06. The main difference is that you cannot pick any plays unless you are QB. I tried WR, TE, and RB and they all are pretty hard to do. QB has no vision now and is worse then off before. TE and WR is best with the switchable camera view and such. Alright, this is what I do to get better punt returns. I had one TD in last year's version, and it was with a fantasy drafted team that had Dante Hall.

First, up the CPU punt length on the sliders a couple notches. Then, set punt return normal as one of your audibles. On the punt, come out in punt block. When they switch to max protect, audible to punt return normal.

Not sure why people think it's impossible... I run back kickoffs and punts all the time... At least 1 every 3 games.

Had 3 in one game a few nights ago...

I get 1 a night usually, if not2, never ran a punt back though.

I've magically come by returning punts and kicks offs quite alot, reggie bush does help.

I struggled to return anything in 06 but its crazy in 07, normally get them 1 every other game atleast, had a few a game too. If not TDs then ran back to atleast their 20, well inside FG range etc!

Omg dude r0fl I seriously am good at Madden but I cannot return punts or kickoffs worth crap....Someone can you help me or give me a strategy to use?
