They are nice this year. It is a route I usually audible to when I see man coverage. You see P.Manning and Brady throw these passes every Sunday. Very hard to contain if you have the timing going on. Obviously if someone bumps and runs every play the route is not as effective but if someone likes to play alot of 2 man under I will throw these routes till they are out of style to my SE and FL. When I can work the sidelines I can open up the middle with underneath routes and effectively use my TE to move the chains. I'd suggest adding this type of route to your scheme.

speaking of that...
i was studying the VP and i noticed they have HITCH, CURL, and HOOK listed as totally separate WR routes..

is there really any dif. to these in the game? and if so is there any difference in application? and either way is one more effective than another?

love when my opp runs that cause WR gives his back to the CB and is it easy picking for a strip ball...:D

I'm liking them a lot this year as well, especially with another receiver holding the safety on a streak.
