I'm now running a spread offense. Has anyone had any success with this in the past, and if so, what's your favorite playbook and team?

Well, i use the Giants with the Tom Coughlin playbook. This playbook is great for spreading out the defense. With all the shotguns and singleback formations at your disposal with 3 or more WRs it spread out the defense well. Most of the pass plays in these play formations are ideal for attacking blitz', those, sending 2 or more people to the middle for going under coverage. if the defense has like two people sitting back in zone in the middle, it will mess up the flow of ur things, but if they have 1 person, he will be more likely to cheat on the person farther down the feild, so drop it in to ur closer guy. Most people online use zones, and i tend to see people using a 4-3 defense with a zone, like cover 2. This is good for me because i know it will let my TE (Jeremy Shockey) either open directly infront of me, underneith the MLB zone, or deep when i motion him off the line a bit and send him on a fly. Most safeties CAN NOT defend Jeremy Shockey's Vertical and he'll catch it everytime, depending on my release time. in singleback, u should have a good RB like Mr. Barber, who can run without a lead blocker efficiently. If they Man it up with the receivers, this is a perfect time for a Dive up the middle. easy 5+ yards. if they start catching on, pass it. they'll start to be confused soon enough and lead to more running opportunities. But as far as good playbook for spreading out the defense, the Giants playbook does pretty well for me. Just read the defense before the play on both runs and passes and try to see wutz obvious. Motion a man once or twice to see if zone or man, and try to get a mismatch. Burress wins most Jump balls whether single or double coverage ESPECIALLY on zone coverage with the fly pattern. If you learn to control the receiver on the fly, you'll catch it 80% of the time. Hope it helped.
