 i am no stranger to madden, but having missed the last two installments, largely in part to my lovely wife. i vowed that death would be the only way to keep me from the 07 version.i play with the bills and i'm used to having a strong defensive push up the middle:ted wahington, sam adams, pat williams, but now they are gone and so is my push up the middle.this problem is increasingly evident seeing how the game is geared towards offense. offensively i have no problems, it's just that if i score 21 they score 28,and if i score 28 they score 35,see where this is going, straight to the endzone every single possesion and it has me pulling my dreds out one touchdown at a time. any idea how to get consistent pressure using the dt's? and help me save my dreds.

The only way to consistently get pressure is to overload the line. But that isn't 100%, you are going to have to mix it up. The only way to atleast always get through is manual blitz and use a quick player. Nothing is guaranteed anymore. You will have to outhink and predict your opponent to come up with the needed stops. Then just out score them, this is how the game is made to be played.
