How do you freeze the D on the 360?

Y then right on the directional pad. do this before the players start moving.

Y makes the D-Line jump. For instance if he runs No huddle the guys will already be in their stance when the animation screen is over.

What exactly is freezing the defense? I'll check it out tomorrow if no one answers, but I haven't heard of it.

The simple answer is, it keeps your guys from following a motioned reciever so it gives the appearance of zone coverage, when really it could be man.
I'm sure someone can elaborate.
