Hey all. I use coach mode, as I'm horrible with actually playing the games. My problem is I've found it virtually impossible to have a respectable passing game, even with top-notch QB's and WR's. One franchise, which I drafted specifically to have a prolific passing offense, I had Peyton Manning throwing to Chad Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Donte Stallworth, and Vernon Davis. Even Peyton himself was still averaging 2-3 INT's per game (even after adjusting the interceptions slider down to two ticks above nothing), and completing maybe 45% of passes IF it was a good day. I have it on All-Pro level with all the sliders default except interceptions, which I've lowered to almost nothing.

Any tips as to how I can adjust my sliders for a more realistic experience? (both with passing, and with the coach-mode games all around?)

Also, how can I improve my pass play-calling so there are actually open targets for Peyton to hit?

Thanks guys

ummm... madden is to be played. if you use only use the coach mode, why do you waste an extra 10 dollars on madden? just buy NFL Head Coach for 40?

Head Coach is too laggy and takes too long to load....the players are even more stupid during games in head coach than on madden with coach mode....more streamlined menus and gameplay with madden....overall just a better quality game with madden.

There are a lot of good slider recommendations over at Football Freaks.

Someone is doing a coach mode slider experiment with All Pro in the forums over there.

I don't have the URL off the top of my head but if you google Football Freaks it should come up in your search.
