Everybody's looking for a edge in Madden, even me. So I decided to share my "secret" playcalling trick with everybody. No, no, hold the applause. It is....
Formation Specific Audibles!!!:eek: :D :confused:
No, no, hold the applause. That's right, this is my bread and butter. It might not seem like a lot but let me explain.
Allow you to change your play that was doomed from the minute you called it!
Formation specific audibles allow you to change the play at the line of scrimmage based on what the defense is doing. Let's say you called a HB Slam out of the I-Form Normal. Your opponent guesses well and calls a defensive play that will eat that up. With Formation Specific Audibles, all you have to do is audible to any of the four choices and you now have the initiative.
Gives defenses the same look!
No need to worry about selling out the run or the pass cuz you give the D the same look. Abusing the run in Strong I? Use the Formation Specific Audible and change your play to a PA!! Easy 7!!
Keeps your offense fresh!
This is especially true for you offline gamers. Tired of your buddy guessing your plays? Does your little brother know what you're gonna call before you even call it? Formation Specific Audibles can help you!
Works for defense too!!
Did you guess run and think they are gonna pass? Did you pick Engage Eight and scared they will "engage" seven points? Formation Specific Audibles is what you need. Now you can cover your mistake and fake the run blitz but actually call cover 3!!
