This has got to be one of the most underated formations in the game. Out of the Titans book, you can pound the rock with the stretch or counter plays and go downfield with the Posts play or WR cross. Both of these plays can kill zone with just a little hot routing of the wr's.

Playing the Steelers (SD Chise vs CPU) it was the most effective way to handle the blitz off the edge w/o going into pre-snap adjustments constantly. ;)

actually I was going to write this off as a wasted formation. I found one play that I could actually use. If you don't mind could you go into how you set up you hot routes for this formation? I would like to use it to give a different look, but want to have more than 1 play from that set.

thanks

The frisco book has a nice selection
of plays outta this formation.

If you're into the 2 TE scheme, it also
has sb twin te wr.

For this post I use the Tenn book.
TE 1 is the TE away from the twin wr's

Top Play
Posts TE 1 on corner or slot wr on corner

Play action
PA Slot Corner look for slot on corner route

Zone Busters
1. Cross Up Slot on corner hot route SE streak
keep both TE’s to block if heat

2. WR OPTION Hit slot WR on streak or TE 1 Corner

3. Posts look for corners by TE 1 and slot wr

Runs
Dive, HB Counter

IMO excellent formation to keep the d off balance. Most people will expect runs from this formation. So you just have to pass when they expect run and run when they expect pass.
