As my sig may suggest, I work at the newspaper. Since I get the paper early, I got to read this last night... In our "Weekend" section, Jaymes Powell, wrote a review of Madden '07 that runs today...

By the way, I was interviewed as a Madden fansite owner, but he couldn't use any of it because I work at the N&O too. :( All this came from sources besides me.

You can't convince us of that. I still have yet to meet 5 people that use QB Vision outside of message boards in the 2 years it's been available.

1) Garrison Vereen
2) Andrew Roman
3) Tony Williams

Every other Madden player I have played in the past 2 years turns QB Vision OFF. I'm not so sure that we are in the minority, unless you only sample the fansite community.

I'm not going to explain the perks to having Q.b vision I'm sure you heard it all. You have to be the only guy in the whole U.S.A besides straight noobs that don't like Q.B vision.

I think you missed the point of the article... It isn't a analysis of QB Vision's pros /cons. Truth is, there are hundreds of people that absolutely ABHOAR the fact that All-Madden/online ranked games force you to use it.

FORCING PEOPLE TO USE QB VISION AGAINST THEIR WILL is the ONLY ISSUE. Let people turn it off on their own accord, and the debate about it is OVER. The hateful posts DIE.

But forcing people to use it only makes them angry... Heck, if I LOVED QB Vision, but EA forced people to use it, I'd be just as upset as I am right now. The only difference is that I'd still be playing online.

And by the way, of the 3 people I've met that use QB Vision, 2 never played Madden before '05.

So much for the newbie theory...
