What makes bunch sets good?

What's the major selling point for bunch formations? Sure you can flood zones, but that's doable with regular trips formations and SB Slot Strong/etc. What about formations like Double Stack Weak from Redskins...what are the stacked formations good for? I remember one article from the filmroom in 06 about how to beat the bump with that but that's about it.

I like them because they give you a variety of options for route combos. There are multiple ways of getting rubs because all the defenders are bunched together as well. Also the unique positioning of the WRs makes it easier to complete certain routes like corners and outs, because there is so much room towards the sideline. Double tights and stacked formations are basically the same idea, except its more balanced.
