Ive tried all the spots on D and cant really find one that I think is better. What positions do you guys play pre-snap?

I always play the 2nd best D-lineman. that way if i screw up it isn't a diaster (such would be with a CB or Safety). and i don't play the best pass rusher because alot of times the computer can do better with him than i can, and the opponent sees me coming from the left side and rolls right to where the best pass rusher is coming.

it depends on which team I am using.
I generally run with the bears, so depending on the situation I l will use any of the three LBs.
In Nickel, I like to use the NB

I like to mix it up. Usally i play saftiesand stay in my zone(unless your man to man). Also I'll be linebackers to bring the heat. By mixing it up your oppent doen't know what your bringing. You could be a linebacker and blitz one play, then everytime your a linebacker, your oppent may think your blitzing and throw a pick because your in coverage(vice versa with safties)

I like to use the middle linebacker in my base 43
i use cover 2 man and i pinch my backers so i make the plays as the backer and ive become quite good at it

I have certain plays where I play MLB and certain plays where I play Safety. It depends on the play and the scheme I am trying to enforce. LOL I like that word, enforce :D

I totally agree. Based on what I'm trying to do or stop, I control different players, Safety, MLB or DE.

You've got to play Safety to stop the Vickers and McNabbers. It's also good to stop people from exploiting the crossing routes. Plus you are always the last man to beat.
