Everyone post their favorite team to use and why. Im just curious to see what the rest of the great madden players use.



Anyways, i usually use the Titans.:D

Ya the ravens are a good team to use especially with their awesome defense.

Ive never tried using the Lions, are you having success with them because their defense isnt that great?

me i'm all atlanta falcons baby. i'm a die hard falcons fan i know all bout them and stuff.

i like the option sturff with mike vick, like send warrick dunnn to the left in the flats the rollout his way and when the line back/defensive end comes up dish it out to dunn if he stays back run and burn him. i like the run blockin and the te to.

the defense is just a massive amount of speed except for the rcb jason webster he's on the slow side, but great pass rush with john abraham and pat kerney, keith brooking an ed hartwell to stop runs, two fast hard hitting safties as well.

i always play as the eagles, McNabb can throw like crazy, and Reggie Brown is a VERY good receiver, he catches balls that i never thought he'd be able to catch, also Brian Westbrook can run well, and their defence is crazy aswell
and I run with McNabb all the time, it's a great team, i love em

The Falcons are my favorite team in the NFL as well. Ive never thought about trying them online. Do you have trouble with Vick's accuracy and the guys who catch the ball? Because i know Dunn can run like crazy:p

i use the broncos cuz i been a fan since i was 7(26 now) and i luv linebackers al wilson,dj williams and ian gold u cant go wrong with that........and plus they have solid recievers...............and a good running back :p

i have some trouble with mike jenkins gettin open to to speed but his size is a good match up problm for most defenders, roddy white is a decent option but he has a small amount of trouble catchin passes. i mostly run the ball i find it more fun and a good way to wear down there defence, i updated the rosters so i no longer have duckett but i got lelie so norwood is my back up so when dunn goes down he's right there and there very equal players

i ain't been able to git online yet i don't have the connections, i don't know wut the connections are if i can find out i'll buy em

I use the Super Chargers. That's my favorite team so it's only fitting right? Plus LT and Gates are monsters along with Lights Out on the D.

i don't know how to have the cpu switch my backs everynow and then so i can never hacve a 2 runnin back attack

Use subtitutions. Some formations have a dual HB package. You can sub in your 2nd hb at a slot or wr and formation shift and audible to get him in the back field with the other hb. Plus with route pulling, this can be very useful.

One more thing, if your running the ball a lot, your RB will get tired quickly, especailly if you have 10+ play drives, in this situation, subing in a good second back is a great idea. That way you have a fresh back on every down. Plus Preist Holmes isn't a bad back up RB to have.

Seems like a lot of people use the chargers. How is their pass offense and defense?

I mainly use the Packers becuase there my favorite team then sometimes ill use the Lions and Niners. I like using underdog teams I dont use the really good teams very much.

the best teams in madden are the falcons, giants, and ravens. in that order. but the chiefs and broncos are solid teams all around. i love using the chiefs because i run the ball alot.

used to use falcons starting to again, use the giants sometimes, steelers occasionaly, starting to use the ravens again, but the chiefs are the main team i use.

I've been a die hard Saints fan (way before this season) for like 27 years, I gotta rep my home squad. So I run with my boys and we're good this year too so it's even greater. Don't get it twisted though I was killing with the Saints in Madden since 2000. I noticed alot of people is starting to jump on the bandwagon on Madden and in real life, LOL. It's all gravy though.

I use the 9ers - my fav team in real life..

I am currently in season 2 of my franchise

I was 11-6 in first season (lost div playoff game to packers)

I switched to all Madden in season 2 (had been playing all pro ) and am doing pretty well

I am 4-0 right now beat Seattle twice, Panthers and Falcons. Combine for the 4 games I outscored my opponents by 9 points.

The ground game with Gore is good - I reaquired Fred Beasley as a FA in the off season and he is GREAT. I also picked up Charles Woodson and drafted a outstanding rookie CB. I still have Battle and Bryant as my wideouts - they are average at best and i struggle in the pass game. I have a rookie 3rd WR that I am trying to develop who has good potential - probably not a future TO, but no slouch either.

The real story has been my rookie DT who has piled up 6 sacks in 4 games! His sack of Vick in the Atlanta game caused a fumble that stopped them inside my 20 with less than a minute to go.

All in all, the Niners can be frustrating, but winnign sure helps you feel better about having a 52% completion rate with Alex Smith!

I use them cause everybody plays with the Falcons, Eagles, Broncos, and Giants. Im working on that 49ers playbook too, Ima have it sexy when Madden 2008 rolls around. :D

ATL baby!!Im not a bandwagoner, just look at my SN, Ive been using them since 01 and i dont play "Vick cheeseball" with 4-5 wide all the time. I pound the rock with Dunn& Norwood alot and keep Vick in the pocket until i need a big first down late.

The Arizona Cardinals. The offense speaks for it's self, just weapons everywhere. And on defense i just user cover with thier middle lineback, dansby and it usually works.

Ive always used Eagles, but playing against better players Im just crap with Garcia, so I have been using the Seahawks lately, they have an overall great team and I love abusing the rb and fb, alexander and strong are a good combo

I use the Ravens, Broncos, Panthers, and Dolphins.

I love the ravens cuz i live in B-more and thats y i use them.

I use the Broncos because they're good at running, they have good wide recievers and they have a nice defense.

I use the panthers cuz they've got an amazing defense and they have Steve Smith and Keyshawn on offense.

I don't really know why i use the dolphins.

The only thing they don't have is a TE!!!! If they had a TE on that TEAM they would be almost impossible to stop!!

Broncos boyeeee........

Cutler has a gun.Bell is a blazer Walker is a stud.The O line is solid.The linebackers are wicked and Champ will shut you down.The weak points are the D line and the safties arent that great in coverage.I always roll with this team they have been my team for 20 yrs now.I switch the playbook up all the time though.If you use them in franchise the defense Cutler and Bell are way too good after year 2 or 3.

I am in the small fraternity that runs with the Buc. The deffense can be nasty if you know how to protect their SLOW DB's...and if you have trouble with a speedster you always have P-Buch with his 97(96 on new update :() speed....Garcia can make all the throws and Galloway can still change a game on any play. My offense became even more of a scoring threat now with the new roster update....Micheal Bennett-97spd-at RB!... with an O can that score from anywhere, and an underated defense, with the fastest linebacking core in the game i do believe, I dont shy away from using my bucs against anyone.

Anyways.. on the game.. Braylon Edwards has some great speed...93 to be exact... he can burn the corner back and get deep...and he has 93 agility so he can cut the corner easily..plus he can bring the ball down all most all of the time with 87 catching...

Then we have Jurevicius who also has 87 catching.. but he is a big WR who can catch the ball over anyone! I always put it deep with him...

Jamal may only have 85 speed but he has 82 str so he can power house those deffensive backs with that 97 BREAK TACKLE!

Derek.. he is a 73 now.. and I'm garenteeing an 83 or higher in 09 because of his stats this year! He can deliver the pass right where it needs to be!

Kellen has amazing hands and has some good speed! He's a power TE! But he is mostly known for those great hands!

On the defense.. we have great pass rushing and we put alot of pressure on the QB forcing easy interceptions....Our CB's have some good speed but...WR can get away from them to easily when going up for the ball or when we try to deflect the pass.. it happens 45% of the time... But we have strength on the Defense so we force a good amount of fumbles! Safties do a good job staying back for the deep pass...

Just a few reasons why I loves the Browns..

I live in Uville Ohio and the Browns are a big part of my family! We love them.. I actually cried when we lost to Pit bcause I want Wildy really bad! So I'm a diehard Browns fan.. but I like other teams too and I know alot of other teams stats.. but the Browns own all!

I look at it like this... most people have a favorite NFL team...and then they have a favorite "madden team"... I have always been a buccaneers fan, but last year i ran with the rams on madden. The rams were not my favorite team by any means, but i refered to them as my "madden team"... I'm sure alot of people don't claim to be patriots fans, but they run with them every game on madden this year.

If i had to pick a "madden team" this year...i would have to say the dolphins(before the injuries to ronnie brown and trent green)...the speed on defense, ronnie brown, a solid QB, and TED GINN!...they were alot of fun to use.

My madden team is the eagles. I think westbrook is the best back in the league on madden. Hes freaking amazing. Good qb. Good all around.

Titans, but i wish they would freaking do an update so i can see how Lendale White looks...I swear he better be over 84, cuz the dude is about to get 1000 yards in his second season. And Justin Gage and Roydell Williams should atleast be low 80's as well, Vince's AWR should go up too because dispite his WR's dropping everything he has shown improvement.
