Ive tried BnR, ive tried delay BnR, ive tried man and zone and i cant stop this specific play.

i just got beat by a one play wonder who kept quick passing to Reggie Bush. He would have Reggie Bush in backfield, then he would motion him out to the left side. Well my LB would follow him out there but since hes not on a delay BnR (which supposely works for quick pass) he catched it every single time.

I dont run into many people that do this BS quick pass, but when i do, i can never stop it. Please, can someone help me out here?

Thanks

delayed BnR, put a DE on Bush's side in a buzz, shade bush inside, also if you know where hes gonna motion bush to, position your LB there so that bush wont beat him when he goes in motion and hes able to bump

the only way to stop the quick pass is to manually put defenders in position and run some crazy nano or fag d, everyone in zone coverage and pray. the same quick pass is gay, but different formations with quick passes can be deadly.

I have no problem stopping it with a 335 man 3 deep and delayed bump

How do you shade a WR for PS2? Do you have to be on the defender?

For XBOX, you hit coverage audible (Y), then the receiver's icon, and then left trigger or right trigger to shade. I think Y corresponds to triangle on the ps2 and the right/left triggers correspond to R2/L2.. I think. :)

delayed BnR, shade outside, put your safties closer to the sidelines, put your DE on curl zones (purple zone) and spread if you know the pass is coming. or try to bring some heat

i never get hurt with a quick pass and stuff, when i play another player i set up in a dime to cover a 4 wide out set and i'd get burned everytime, whenever u play even a madden beginner the cpu like makes it wicked ez for them to pass for some reason, that pisses me off, i use atl playbooks wut defense should i call

I found it today, the nickel 3-3-5 3 man under si the best play to defend this. I guess becuz both wr ar man'd up with zones behind them that the defenders play inside, It is a bueatiful thing. Played this bum today using the Bengals, and all he did on third down was throw high *** slant passes to Chad and Tj. He first was throwing corner routes, that is why I swithced to that Defense, is becuz it is very goood! against crner rts. Well he tried a slant when I thought it was going to be a crner rt, and I picked him off. I stayed in that defense (on passing situations) for the rest of the gm, and he did not complete one. Hope this helps.

this may sound cheesy but it works out of any D, when he motions the back out like that and keeps throwing to him, take control of the DE next to the back and when he hikes the ball nail the back with the DE, he won't notice and will throw the ball, the running back will on the line of scrimage still. and it is usually a pick or darn close, he will stop doing that after awhile.

Recap so people are saying that a delayed bump and run will slow down the quick pass.
