Shutdown... frustration

I'm not an online game junkie but I've played madden quite a bit - I'm about 77-22 with my eagles online in '07 and most of those wins I can attribute to my good D and good stick on defense but today I got into a tangle with someone much better...

I was playing my usual TEN compression offense and go literaly SHUT THE **** DOWN by this BAL 3-3-5 user. He'd just drop make every in D and find out ways to get INSTANT pressure with his front 3 using the DT. I think I must of thrown like 6 picks or something it was depressing. I started out pounding the rock alot with westbrook but once I threw an INT retuned for a TD I fell behind 2 TDs and HAD to pass. I had no idea what to use I even have the guide and it didnt help me (Big B) -

I have no problems beating cover 1/2 out of the 43 34 46 and heat but this drop back D was just killing me with the his AWR corners :/

let me ask you was he taking the DT and swinging him outside the O-line or moving in twords the center at the snap. i have ran into something like that before. i couldn't run the ball even out of the 2TE I formations because he would take a DT and go right next to the center and tackle the QB BEFORE the hand off. i ended up winning the game by going 5-wide and hitting alot of quick slant routes but i never had more than a second or two before the 3 man rush would get to me in any formation so i decided he if could get to me no matter what i wanted as many receivers as possible out there.
any non-shotgun formation was a loss because i couldn't hike the ball and pass it before he would come up the middle and sack me, and we are talking hike, button, i couldn't throw the ball after the hike before he would get there.

Ya something similar, he'd spread the line - take the DT put him manually like 1 yard off the LOS and wreck my center and get str8 to my QB - I tried sliding the pocket and keeping a HB it was useless I was destroying him with quick slants towards the end of the game as well, but I couldnt compensate for the early turnovers

Fool him with the run blocking controls. Use them when your going to pass and run. Make sure that DT gets blocked. If that doesn't work, then run your shotgun plays.

I hate pinching the pocket with slide protection (the worst slide protection because the ends can come right around) but pinch the protection, leave a back/TE in to block, and roll to that side. If you have a some what mobile QB then you will have time with your roll out.
