I really like the cowboys so if any people have used it and know some good strategies/plays i would appreciate it if you posted your thoughts here.

I like Putting Marion Barber as my fullback more speed for blocking, Glenn as my #1 Wr, Owens #2, Green #3 Witten #4 Crayton#5.

The passing game is unstoppable on 4 wide out if you run it right. I like the mentality of I pass to what the defense gives me.

I also run a 3-4 so I mixed up the Original Defense that is on the field.

I'll list it and this lineup has worked great for me and Im sure you will love it if you run any 3-4.

LE - Marcus Spears
RE - You got three options here. 1 You can leave Chris Canty. 2. You can put a bit bigger Jason Hatcher in their to clog up the run. 3. You can put Kevin Burnett in. Burnett is who I have in their because stopping the run is no problem for me passing is the hard part. Also a semi speedy 85. Helps contain the mobile QB's.
DT - Jason Ferguson
LOLB - Akin Ayodele (Bobby Carpenter behind him)
MLB - Bradie James
ROLB - Demarcus Ware (Bobby Carpenter behind him)

You also want Watkins as your starting FS cause damn that boy can get up their for those picks.

Also Demarcus Ware is rated a rediculous 97 as a LE if im not wrong but he's kinda small for a De and he works great as a LB blitzing.

Im looking for a more traditional way to run their offence not a spread.

any particular reason you put glenn as your #1 reciever?

Having TO as your split end reciever will cause mismatches and thats how the cowboys use him in real life.

Yah Glenn is a good #1 and if they put their best corner to cover Owens, You can pass to Glenn on all diffrent kind of routes, which opens passing to Owens, Witten, and Jones out of the backfield.

I run with Dm Boyz and Dm Boys only! I kinda got away from their pb because I like running with two TE's. For a while I ran with the Redskins pb because thir singleback set is outtadisworld. They have lots and lots of compression. But they don't have good I Form sets. So I'm slowly going back to the cowboys. I like to come out in a two TE set then audible to the I form or into my spread. It works well for me. In the right situation a good TE can still make BIG plays. My TE play opens up my WR play which opens up my RB play which opens up my TE play... Something to think about when using The Cowboys. "There are teams that have a good FS or a good OLB but not both. You can beat a OLB in single coverage. If they use the FS to help or cover your TE it leaves TO in one on one coverage with the DB." That's just the way I think. We also have A. Fasano and T. Glenn on the other side. I'm not saying that I'm the best or that I've never lost a game. I'm just sayin'...:p

Cowboys suck, and so does their playbook.

That's cool, I know where you're coming from...no disrespect from me because I do find your comments amusing.

I have a friend that owns a bar (Ribbit) in Mays Landing, NJ.
I go there for at least one Eagles/Cowboys game a year. Its
a fun rivalry. He's a Cowboy fan good or bad, and I respect
that.

And that's the way it should be. I'd look at you funny if you didn't stay an Eagles fan in rough times, just as I would if you didn't have some comment about the Cowboys. It's all part of the enjoyment of the game.

If your into quickpassing, as i myself sometimes do, i used to use this book in Full House-Curls, and that was a nice play to quick pass out of. Plus, you could go to the flats, wait for them to actually cut back, or shift players to cause bumps in the def.

But i guess it dont really matter which play to quick pass out of, since all you need is 2 backs in backfield and 3 receievers, which is why i dont use this book anymore

Edit: The team I used to use this PB with was the giants, because i like their WR height and RB speed. Not to mention their great TE either =)

One of my favorite plays against dudes who like to bring the heat, or in goal line situations is 5 wide, Curls. If the Mike's blitz, Green is always open in the middle, and count it for 6.
