Before I hike the ball on pass plays, I press the R2 button to zoom out and then quick hike the ball so that the view stays zoomed out. I can get a view of all the receivers and can see blitzes better.

Anyone else do this? Is it a good strategy?

yah i like doing this as well. You can tell right from the beginning whether the deep route will be open. If I dont like my deep read i'll go with something short.

Yep I do it too. Very helpful when passing vs bump because you can see when the receivers get a clean release.

Have you tried changing your camera angle to User Defined? That way you can pick the "Classic" angle for running plays and "Madden Long" for passing plays. Then you won't need to come up and quick snap and it just pops up automatically. Try it out in practice mode and see what you think.

I do the same. It allows you get a good idea of what the pass coverage is on the outside.

I use Widescreen (4:3 Letterbox). Screen always shows me the entire defense.
