can some1 pls help me out or atleast tell me if im the only one with this problem


in the game everything will be going perfect. no lag. then, out of the blue ill just disconnect and ill go straight back to the online main menu. i get the discconnection and the loss. ill go right back into another game and the same thing will happen. sometimes i dont even make it through the first drive.

my record has gone to hell, my temper has skyrocketed, and its not even fun because i cant finish a game. i dont know what to do. my record is around 5-20 yet i have lost 0 games that i have finished. thats 20 disconnects in 25 games. its past the point where its o well i dont care about my record because i cant even finish a game


is this the **** ea servers or is this me or wtf? this is really frustrating me and i was wondering if you guys could help me out some.

I noticed this in a few games. I would call an audible and form shift etc etc, soon as i hiked the ball, boom, connection has been lost.

Its not the kind of connection drop where it lags, and lags, and then finally kicks you off. It was audible, form shift, hike the ball an GONE.

Yeah me two. I notice this when i run certain formation

i dont think it has to do with the formation or play. for me it usually happens after a score, kickoff or punt.

i got this problem in the last 5 days my very first game I would get that kind of disc...

Monday - My opp runs the kickoff for a TD, my very first play I hike the ball boom disc...

Tuesday - Opp kicks a squib kick goes out of bounce first play I run HB Slam after gettin tackle disc

Wednesday - Opp kicks of I catch that ball disc..

Thursday - after winning coin toss disc

Friday - after loading disc

i heard to try recreating the ps2 network configuration and to that hitting start to adjust your depth charts before the game or before like the first 5 plays will increase your chances of disconnecting so im gonna try that.

any other help would be much appreciated

i tried the network thing but i forgot to do the rosters thing and it still worked for one game. havent played more than one game though

yeah this has happened to me with my last 5 games. its really been pissing me off.

does anyones freze and then like 10 min later the lost connection to your oppenonet screen come up and then it happens again and agian happened like 10 times the other day to me

dam i just played a game i was up 20 on a guy with 3 seconds left my ball on their 20. this guy was talking trash all day so i went for it to rub it in. i tossed it to alge in the endzone with 0 seconds left, disconnected got a loss and a dnf. lol this is almost to the point where im gonna quit madden. that would have made my 1st finish in my last 8 games

god ****it i thought it was gone but its back again. wth? why cant i finish a game? does anyone know how to fix this or am i the only one with the problem?

i play on ps2, i have a cable modem, and i have a wireless linksys wrt54g router.
