offensive playcalling help

How do like to call offensive plays? Do you call plays based on what you thing the defense is going to do ie. blitz, zone, man, cover 1,2,3,4. Or do you pick a play that you u just feel like running and adjust at the line.

Also how does this affect your gameplay online or verse a human opponent?

I usually call play that i feel like, but itry to run more than pass because i throw picks too much... i agree.. can any help be given for passing and which pass plays to be called?
