Maybe they're not as good as we all thought they were. McNabb has 3 INTs, no TDs.
Ronde Barber with 2 INTs returned for TDs. Nice.

I just turned to game off. It's an embarassment. Every time they get a drive going something happens. Ronde Barber owns McNabb.

How suprising. The Bucs put together some long drives.
Don't give up Superfly, as it's only a 10 point game and these are the Bucs.

****mit! Oh well Jags in our house next week. Good game to get our 5th win. I didn't think he would be able to kick a 62 yarder. Whats funny about this game is TB had no offensive TDs. Looked like Reid told McNabb not to throw in the direction of Barber for the rest of the game and it paid off. Take away the 2 Ronde picks and the Eagles played a heck of a game. They are still above .500 and had again over 500 yards tot offense. The 2 picks were just 2 much to over come.

1 -- Donovan McNabb's so good that even when he throws interceptions, they're touchdowns!
2 -- Does anyone own a single player more than Ronde Barber owns McNabb?

Does the road to the Super Bowl still go through Philly? Still a long season anything could happen in the next few weeks. That's why I won't crown anyone untill the fat lady sings.

stfu f@g, dun be mad cuzz McNabb showed his true colours that game. And this is a public fourm, and I bet at least 60-70% of that public doesn't know the exact standing in the NFC east DIV. So what? you have a problem?

I give you a compliment and you call me a f@g? I was saying you should be proud of yourself that you were able to figure out the rigorous calculations that if Dallas wins tomorrow they take the lead in the NFC East.
Dallas still sucks.
The Eagles played well. They just didn't play well enough.
This one's tough to take, but Eagle fans aren't going anywhere.
I'm proud of the way McNabb played. He played though mistakes,
heat, and sickness - and showed us his improved maturity and
knowledge. I'm still feeling pretty good to be an Eagles fan.

Oddly enough I don't feel sour about the loss today. I guess I've just become calloused over the past couple weeks. We're basically the Chargers of last season. We've lost all of our games by less than a touchdown this season. Hopefully we can get it together next week. It's ashame though when you put up 500 yards of offense (200 total by Westbrook), and your defense doesn't give up any touchdowns, yet you still find a way to lose that game.

Eagles snatch defeat from the jaws of victory again...2nd striaght week.
ugh.
I'd like to say getting Stallworth and Hood back next week will help, but I think the problem is more than missing a starting WR and nickel CB.

You give up the ball to the other team the ball 4 times and 2 out of those times you gave them 14 points and loose by 2 points in the end! WTF are you kidding me? McNabb cost us, Westbrook needs to play Madden more, there were no Buc players near him, he should have let the clock run down, but again I thought the game was won. McDougle WTF were you thinking kicking the yellow flag up in the air? Gaithers gave up yards by being the extra man on the feild in the Aints game, and McDougle penalized for 30 yards on one play in this game?!?! Are you effen Kidding me?!?! I live in Seattle and the game wasn't on TV here but I have NFL replay and for the 3rd week in a row the Eagles are on. With NFL replay I think we are 1-2.

For some reason, people seem to be criticizing Westbrook for not going down short or wasting more clock. This is the NFL, and not Madden. If the defense gives you a touchdown, you take it. Anything could happen if he gets tackled at the 1 (Especially the way things were going for Philly that game). The defense allowed a rooke QB to drive down the field and get in field goal range, McDougle had a mental breakdown, and Ronde Barber has McNabb's number. Westbrook was really the only bright spot for Philly in that game.

The Bucs should've put this game away earlier. Gradkowski missed several guys that were wide open. He really needs to work on his deep passing.

No your Dallas of last season, Dallas lost 7game last year, 4losses within a FG (missed FG costed them like 3games, should of been at least 11-5 record) and then like 2 games within 7points. Philly is a simple team on O to stop, (nothing deep, nothing cheap) McNabb is a gun slinger, always going for the long bomb play, and this year hes hitting it a lot. can't wait till round two with philly and dallas, all dallas has to do is play cover two with a man always on westbrook, and have 5men at mcnabb.

now how does it feel eh? Dallas VS Philly game, dallas gave Philly 17POINTS from turnovers, and dallas was still one play away from tieing game. your team gives up 14 and your crying.

JPar,
Hey! You know I love T.O. But D-Mac's having an even better season without T.O. this year. Ronde notwithstanding (if he and his brother were to retire and become Manhattan playboys, the Eagles' lives would be so much simpler), I think Donovan's really made the jump to "best QB not named Peyton".

Definitely DMac's fault with this game. And the defense can share in it too on that last possession. But it's all good, this is still the best team in the NFC - but it would be nice if they started playing like it.

True, true....makes it fun though.
Who the hell is gonna be in the Super Bowl??? Can anyone say for sure??
It's soooo wide open.
Back on topic: As was said earlier, McNabb and Reid take the goat on this one, Eagles should have been up 10-14 at the end if it wasn't for those 2 INT TD's and that botched FG chance at the end of the 1st. Bad playcalling and execution.
That being said, gimme McNabb every week unless Brady or Manning are available.

I don't think they're the best team in the NFC, but I do still think that they are top 4. I put the Giants, Bears, and Panthers in front of them. Historically, Philly has been successful containing Vick, and Seattle isn't the same team as last year. Say what you want, but Philly is still a better team than New Orleans and Tampa. It's like saying Houston is the better team over Jacksonville. You can't go by just the score of their games. You have to look beyond that.

These last 2 games were tough to lose, one has to think if there would have been any difference had Stallworth been available.
DMac definitely is the goat here, and so is Jerome McDougle for kicking the penalty flag, that was a huge mistake, whether the Ref was wrong or not - and Andy Reid is always a goat in my book. Andy is great at evaluating talent and such but he is the WORST playcaller in the league. Bar none. NONE.
But still, sitting at 4-3, the best we can do is 13-3, but even at 11-5, which is where i think we'll end up at this point, that's a good regular season before it's "money time". That's when we find out who the best really is for both conferences.

Don't the Eagles lead the NFL in Tot offernse and broke the NFL record for big plays in the first 5 games of the season? Play caller no, manager maybe.
