Im thinking about starting to use the Saints. It is a better idea to start Bush or Mcallister at running back or anything else you could do?
Also the Saints have slow corners, how do you blitz without getting killed by the deep ball? Just post anything about the Saints.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks:p

Start Bush and then use spell HB. Use a split back system.

when I used the Saints I put Bush in the FB position...
so I can use both of them to run and both for passing...

I'm in New Orleans and have been playing with the Saints exclusively. PM me if and I'll tell you how you can use them both effectively along with Joe Horn and Colston.

Have bush as a slot receiver and backup RB if it will let you,and when you are running an outisde run like a counter or something sub him in as the RB for the speed but otherwise use deuce because hes more balanced.

In my opinion, start bush. Mcallister isn't my fav running back to use.
Bush is faster and more agility.
Mcallister has a more power than push to run through and break tackles. I do'nt like mcallister as much as bush because i'm a speed nad finesse type of player.
but i guess if u keep with the run and bush gets faded use hb spell and put in mcallister. They are both great weapons to have. No matter who gets tierd first u have another good RB with you.

I start Bush so that I can use the packages that puts the HB in the slot and Deuce as the RB and have McCallister as the FB with Dual HB.
I use a lot of Singleback 3 WR sets with Bush in the slot, as well as 2 back sets with both in at the same time (with Bush as a receiver and Deuce as the RB or with Bush as the RB and Deuce as the FB).
Finding creative ways to have both players on the field at the same time is key to utilizing them, IMO.

how often do you put bush in the slot and do you run with mcallister more often? You can put him in a slot with a package right?
Also, is Henderson a better #2 reciver than colston? He has more speed and seems to be effective with the PA.
Thanks for all the help.

Another thing, is it a good idea to start Bush at RB and Mcallister at FB and then run the same amount with both? Then you would be able to use them both in the passing and running game (out of the i-form but i tend to run that a lot)
What's a PB that uses two RBs a lot?

I use Dual HB all the time in Splitbacks, as I don't ever run out of it. Other than that, it depends on the situation.
I usually get Bush involved with screens and a few runs, but he's probably lined up as a WR (the HB Slot package) as much as he is a RB. He's also my KR/PR.
Another big thing is to not telegraph what you're doing with your subs. Try and do different things while giving the same look so that you don't become predictable.
I like Colston more because of his size and his jump, as well as the fact that Brees doesn't throw a very good deep ball so my passing game is based on short/intermediate routes with a few deep shots a game when the defense isn't respecting it.

I really think Mcallister runs better, breaks so many tackles, and I notice its easy to hit stick bush. Bush almost always falls backwards as for Mcallister, he seems to fall foward. IMO

I do the same bust as #1 so that I can use him as rb or reciever by sub him in multiple spots. he is the most dangerous skill position player outside of vick.

I would like some insite on some of the things you do. My main problem is stopping the run. I'm from Ruston,La, but live in Atlanta.

First of all, make sure you do the auto-arrangement of your depth chart. By default, the Saints defensive players are bench players.
This is what you want on the defensive line:
Big Charles Grant, Brian Young (3T), Hollis "Tank" Thomas (NT), and Will Smith
For linebackers, you want Tommy Polley at the weakside (the guy is fast, 85 speed), Danny "Hammerhead" Clark at MLB, and Scott "Asian Assassin" Fujita at SS LBer. Hollis Thomas, Clark, and Fujita will improve your run stopping defense by A LOT.
Stopping the run is hard for anyone on this game that's playing a patient runner. EA made it point to make the running game good this year, and effectively they've made it too good...I average 6 yards a run. But if you know it's coming, some 4-6 defensives with run commit should help a ton.
Also, try Dollar DB dogs, press coverage, move your lineman in and make them collapse the middle. Put two linebackers before your lineman. Those 5 should handle the middle, and the two DBs will be coming off the edges on a mad blitz should it should handle and toss, etc.
I usually do well against the run, but then again, I live and die by the blitz. I do A LOT of blitzes and line jams to help out the slow cornerbacks.

Put Bush as #1 rb that way you can change personel and use him as a wideout and Duce will be the rb.Also you can use them both in the baclfeild togather for a double threat.;)
