please help im new and i dont understand when ppl say bump the WR or bump the CB's:confused:

It's triangle then down on the PS2. What it does is bring your corners up and make them play tighter on the WR. They shove them throwing off their timing.

It works good for short and medium timing routes but not as good against deep routes because once the WR gets off the bump it's easier to burn the CB because he's playing so close to him.

What most people do is bump (triangle down) and then flip the play once or twice (square R2) and that causes a delayed. The corners go back to normal depth but still bumps the WR. That's more effective.
