Beating Broncoes Defense??

My brother knows nothing about picking plays on defense, he just picks anything with blitz or cover in the title of it.

He plays Broncoes, and I usually play colts or falcons.

He has no problem getting triple coverage (he never controls individual players, just watches the computer run his plays for him) and knocks my passes away from receivers. Somehow he will end up with 7-8 picks a game. WHY IS THIS??? when he throws, it is always 1 on 1 coverage, and I never do blitzes! how do I get good coverage on 4-5 wr forms? (usually shotgun)

Also, how do people play well with vick? *stupid question from someone who watches more NCAA football than NFL* And can someone tell me how to kill with falcons offense?

The only way he can get 7-8 picks when he doesnt control a defender is by you throwing into coverage... You need to be able to see who is going to make the catch and who will be intercepted if you throw to them. Start off by using some form of a progression, meaning first look towards a running back in the flats, if no one is covering him throw it to him, then look to a deep route, if its open throw, then look to a curl... Thats just an example and its different depending on the down/distance/situation, but you get the picture..

To cover 4-5 WR formations, you could play a 2 mand under out of dime or quarter, call cover 3 out of the 3-3-5, or if he isnt too experienced just call a normal cover 3. The other thing that would work well is zone blitizing, but it can be a little more risky...

As for playing playing well with Vick, scramble around and look for open people... If no one is going to stop you if you run, run. For being good with the falcons, hit Dun in the flats, send him on streaks and motion him out of the backfield, hit Crumpler as much as you can, and scramble with Vick.

Dont watch too much college football so I dont know who he is... but if he runs behind the line of scrimage for 10 seconds a play then throws a rocket 40 yards downfield nearly every play then yes lol

im kinda a nooby new type madden player (05,06,07) I switched from 02 (hail mary and win every game) to 07 and im kinda feeling overloaded with all the different things you can do with it.


whats the best defensive playbook for this game?

best d is to use balanced D it helps has great plays to just about cover the feild and double cover the deep ball man

i like to use the ravens playbook because its has lots of variety with the 46, 4-3, and 3-4

Raven's PB and Balanced D is the same.

I think 3-4 or 4-3 is the best playbook depending on what team you use.

The Broncos defense is very good. However they have some weaknesses. First off you need to know how your opponent has thier personnel. If lynch or Furgeson are at safety, then he can never play cover 1 or zero. Those guys both have an 83 for speed, so you should have mismatch. You want to put your best WR's in the slot on 3 and 4 reciever sets and pick on thier nickle and dime backers. Put your top WR at wr#2. Do not throw at Champ unless necassarry. He is a beast, no need to try to prove otherwise. But with your best reciver matched up against Williams, or Pahmah. You should be able exploit. Also remember thier defensive line is not fast so you really dont have to worry about DLine. The fade route kills Denver to the left, becuz Lynch is to slow to help. Hope this helps.
