How do you guys look at your Offensive production?
Do you look to pass it to 6-7 different players or do you concentrate
on 2-3 guys w/ TE1 WR1, WR2.
Let’s talk Offensive Philosophy, what are you guys trying accomplish
per series and during each half? I look for balance and limited mistakes
and turnovers.
Any input?

I know I look to run the ball out of different formations. Once the run is established, I hit them with the PA pass. When I pass, I want to throw short ball controlled type passes, and when I see the opportunity, I throw deep. Balance is the key, although I don't try to keep it exactly 50-50. It all depends what's working at the time. I do like to spread the ball around, that way my opponent won't key on any one player.

I play like Peyton Manning. At the play call screen I set two runs as audibles (inside and outside). Then I pick a pass play. Then I come out, read the defense and choose the play I think has the best chance against my opponents defense.

The opponents defense and down and distance determine my offense.

I like to play in 5wr sets and just spread the ball around.

I like to play in 5wr sets and just spread the ball around.
And subsequently annoy the hell out of evad04, who expects the Packers to RUN the ball at least ONCE in two offensive drives. Then evad04 suddenly gets a dirty disc error because his XBOX is so angry from having evad04 curse at it because of GBPackersRULE1's offense.
You got my number GBPackers. I play and beat what I consider decent players... but I can't do anything against you. Meh.

Longview,
I prefer to throw to 6-7 receivers. I try to hit use the "uncovered WR theory". I do use certain plays to attack certain areas of the defense.

I usually go run run pass, no matter the down, until the 4th. I usually come up to the line and check to see how many are in the box as well, just in case I want to change my pattern, usually works for me. I run out o fpassing formations (4wr sets).
If I know you have a problem defending the deep ball, I take shots down the field, then taht opens up everything underneath.

I found some good running plays so I dont do that 100% of the time any more.:D

I've been meaning to get another game with you. I'm looking real hard at the West Coast book, and it has that same Singleback Empty Bunch you were killing me with. We should lab it up.

My philosophy on offense...
1.) Get the ball to my playmakers...I will use motion, formation shifts, and packages to move my best players around to create mismatches and get them the ball...I dont really worry about spreading the ball around(which I can do) unless the person I'm playing shows they can take away where I'm trying to go w/the ball...
2.) Pound the rock! opens up so many things when you can run...
3.) I like to stretch the field, and create deep-med-short reads on the same side of the field...I will also abuse the flats if you let me!

I look to pass first, run second. So I use the passing game to help open up the running game. Stretch the field out either with motion or formation choice and always look for the deeper routes to keep my opponent honest, if not I go short. Something is usually always open in the passing game, as opposed to the running game where your opponent will usually constantly use the commit feature, stack the box, blitz,... your success is pretty unpredictable. So I like my chances better with the pass or running from a spreadier pass look. I usually pass by sending out 4-5recievers and hardly any PA.

Before QB Vision my philosophy was:
Run/Pass = 40/60
Run on 1st down. Run after incomplete passes. Throw to at least 6 different receivers. Keep throws short.
After QB Vision...
Run/Pass = 70/30
Run on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down. Pass only when necessary. Throw to 3 receivers. Throw deep and intermediate.
Or don't play... Usually I don't play.

u got to get your game plan and go with it...u cant ask someone eles to tell u what they do because its not going to work if u try it......everyone got a way that they play..if u try and play someone eles way...u r going to suck more....ive tryed it because....like seeing everyone play with a playbook...so then i say to myself ill try it to......and then i get killed doing it....what iam trying to see is just lab and find what works for u....your not going to beat everyone u know lol later

i basicly use my main receiver as a decoy and most of my backup receivers put up big numbers

I love to abuse the TE. Once hes got enough, go to the big guns. Love running out of a spread offense as well.

I play with dallas i like to pass first keep it on short yardage on second or third down then you have a choice to run or pass.I like running with barber on short yardage some then at a different time on short yardage if my opponent expects me to run with barber again i pa pass it to witten or glen deep.
