2-4-5 against the run and PA

i use the Rams with the Qb contain Pb it has a 3-4 normal and under which i like to use most. but i also like to run the 2-4-5 but i beat when ever i do they audible to a run or a PA and i cann't seem to stop'em in the back field or get pressure on the Qb.

Second i know the rams CBs. aren't the greatest so i get beat deep on the lob in any suggestion?

no way your gonna stop the run in a 245 unless you blitz alot of people and get lucky. If i was playing you and you came out in that it be a no brainer to run.

Know your guys tendancies and run commit and pass commit especially if you are running a 2-4-5.

Talk to "GAV" from this forum. Dude pretty much runs a Nickel-2-4-5 as a base Defense and does a hella of a job with it vs. both the run & pass. He blitzes A LOT and does a lot of manual pre-snap movement though to help stop the run. It's definitely a dope D the way he runs it.
