Guys if you would can I get some step by step instructions on how YOU use On The Fly Audibles feature on Madden 07? I feel this would be best suited for me when I'm on offense to do. Would greatly appreciate any responses. Thanks in advance.

when you're at the playcall screen hit R3. you have to be at the page of the audible you want to pick. then hit the button of what you want the audible to be, and then press the button of the play you want to be an audible.

When you say "hit the R3", are u saying click down ON the top of the R3 analog stick? If any one else knows please clarify if you will. Thanks.

I primarily use it to set up my scheme for my NO PB, but I will also use it to get two-to-three looks outta the same set. (you just have to remember which plays you picked incase you frequently change audibles. I recomend setting 4 perminant and have one for a changeable aud)
For example; If I come out in I Form BIG, on the play call screen I will set quick auds for
a Run-Left for "Square", (like HB toss)
a Run-Right for "O" (like a counter or a slam)
and then have "X" be a passing play (Like Curls).
Usually this will allow me to take advantage of what the Pre-Snap look for how the Def sets up. If they stack the box I will either pass it, or run it to the side with the least amount of blockers...it kinda disquises the initial playcall because the Offence does not shift or move when you call the audible (unless you motioned or shifted prior to the audible)
I personally set up an audible for the primary sets that I run. I feel this gives me the most flexibility for shifts and motion as I have been working on a compressed scheme.
I have a Play for each of the following sets:
SG 5WR Bunch
SB 4WR (usually a run play) but I will often shift SB sets to tight dbbls so I can get the Trips bunch TE look
IForm TTE
Wk I TTE
Srt I TTE
Hope this helps out
PM me if you want to further discuss

do you have to hold the R3 or do you just press it once. I think in previous years you had to hold down R1.

Nastyquedawg, I tried to PM you, but your full
(I know the book pretty well, so I can quickly get to the plays I have set up for my Aud system.)
Here is my routine for the auds I always use... The reason I like theses plays is they can get me to ANY favorable formation for most situations. I use the tight TTE out of the various formations. The auds I set allow me to form shift or motion to the rest of the sets 'looks' that I utilize.
Like I cant get to I-form TTE from any Iform shift, but I can shift from TTE to BIG, (or Normal and a SB Normal look..)
It takes me 2 downs, to set it all up.
First down, I get my two run plays set up. Ill get to a toss out of I-form TTE,-L1- (cus I can form shift it to normal or BIG) then I go to SB 4WR and aud the HB Toss -R1- (this way I can form shift to tight doubles and get my Trips bunch TE with a motion) then I pick the corner play next to it. Slant Overload, I think.. *Which side of the field I get tackled on the Kick off return, will dictate how I flip the Corner play.* After I pick the two run Auds have about 15-17 secs or so to get a play off. If the DB's are in position to guard the corner play, I run it. you always have option to PlyMaker the run to either side, or Aud + PlyMaker R3 down for a slam..(or counter depending on the set)
2nd down, I set up my -1st- SG 5WR Bunch (for X) -2nd- My WK-I TTE, play (Square) and -3rd- my Str-I TTE, (O) then call the FB dive on that same play call screen...
From there I try to call plays out of my scheme. I run a compressed set, with motion and form-shifts to dictate match-ups and attempt to throw short/quick/accurate passes. I flood the zone on pass plays and try to keep my opponent honest by attacking the flats and hook zone early, then I pound the rock, and take chances down field outta the same looks that I have been attacking the flats/hooks with...
I will do a break down of my 'Nawlins scheme soon (maybe even this weekend)
If you want anymore tips or w/e hit me bak Bra..
Oh yeah, you can practice setting it up on Practice mode/Situation. set up your teams, field position etc. etc.. remember break it down into sections, first down or the end of the quarter you only get 25 secs, so be mindful of that..
It used to take me forever to set all of this up. (But) once you know which plays will fit your scheme, find them and set them as an aud, this is about the 5th time I have changed my Auds, but this current set seems to give me balance, I can attack deep, medium or the Flats outta each look, so its hard for the Def to key on what I am trying to do...
