I might be, no, I am absolutely THEE worst MADDEN player in the history of the game!!! I just had a mental meltdown while playing online this A.M.! I destroyed my sticks I was that close to kicking the ***** outta my ps2! I'm defeated by a video game. My life is incomplete!
You see I started playing MADDEN when the "Vick 04" version came out. I had high hopes of one day becoming a respectable baller. I knew it would take at least two years to lift my skillz and game to a level to where I could compete in a manner that would give me some respectability in the "Madden world". Hummph, so much for that crap!
It's not so much that I don't understand football or football strategy it's just that my skill level has seemed to have peaked! Is it my age??? My ability to learn??? The ability to recognize and adapt??? I haven't the *****tiest clue!?!?!?
Now, I know this seems a bit melodramatic regarding a game but you all know how MADDEN can get in your bloodstream and it can become more addictive than heroin. I'll always love the game but I gotta let it go...at least for a coupla weeks!
I really wanna continue playing the game but it has drained me. It mocks me. It insults me. I am it's *****!
I am totally disconsulate regarding Madden. Sorry I let the community down.
I must be going now there's an open oven waiting for my head!

Dude. I'm freakin 9-58. Are you worse than that. I spent 6 hours lastnight playing and could not win a stinking game not matter what. I lost close games, last second games and games I should have won but like usual threw some interception at the last second, or the guy throwing a bomb, catching it for a touchdown even when I had a prevent defense up.
How sick is that. I alrady broke one of the controllers so i'm down to the out the box controller. I've bought all the VGsports ebooks including 301 and it hasn't helped me one bit.
So, I don't think you can get worse than me, and yet I'm still eager to get home from work and play some more.
How sicker can that be.

i have the same problem with the late nights, losing online record, controller breaking, system hitting and meltdowns. i mean serious MELTDOWNS. this helps... take a step back from the game... quit for a couple days... then play again and youll be fine. repeat the process ;) :)

hehe, it's funny how stressed out I get when I miss a 1on1 in the air, or throw a dumb pass which goes back for a TD.
We get like that just playing a game, it must be 100 times worse for the real players, making that bad throw or missing the key FG in the final seconds. How they overcome that for the following week is impressive, we can just turn off the TV or start a new game 20 seconds later, they have to live with their mistakes for atleast a week. After the game theres 10 cameras and microphones in their face asking them how it feels, it is another world we wont ever know.
