I've been playing this guy that plays with the eagles. On passing downs he takes kearse, brings hims about 3-5 yards outside of my tackle and everytime he does this he sprints right around my tackle and backs and gets a clean route to the qb. how do you block this guy!!?

Keep a rb or fb back to block,...have him block whatever direction kearse is on (usually the right) Stay in the pocket!!! Dont keep backstepping because that leaves you all alone and no blockers. Let your blocks surround you, try to complete some small short passes consecutively to keep him off your back.

Yeah, keep a back in to block, and step up in the pocket, don't keep dropping back!!!

step up in the pocket with mcnabb, up and to the right, then you will even have a nice running lane if you can run for the first,

Ok this is relatively easy to fix, take a three step dro, and as he gets by your tackle, scramble to the right, there should be a large whole and then throw from the right side of the field, short quick slants, screens, curls should work to.

what about julius peppers. That guy's a BEAST. I could hardly pass against him. In some cases I would max protect so I would have Columbo, Witten, and fasano block and he would still dominate. UNBELIEVABLE

Alot of people setup protection, but don't drop to the area they are protecting... More important than keeping a back in to block... FORMATIONS!!! It won't help to have max protect in the game if you protect in the wrong places...

Kearse is lining up wide... Set your formations so that you can protect wide. Split Backs, Shotgun 2RB, Near, Far, I Form, and Strong I, Weak I should all be safe formations if you setup your protection and drop into the protected area.
