Playing with bad teams

I love playing with horrible teams because it makes it so much easier when I'm not playing online against one of my friends. I just really start playing Madden for Xbox360 because 06 Madden was horrible. I just wanted to to know what would be a good run stopping defense that would work for just about any team. The team I usually play with is the Titans or Green Bay. I can score but I cant stop anyone. Guys pick Denver or Kansas City and just run it down my throat. Is it me or is it just that this Madden is just not for the "underdog" team or the team that can't run?

no that is not true. plenty of times ive played with the 49er and ive only given up 14 or so points. it just depends on how you play.
