Most annoying loser EVER

Anyone ever had the "pleasure" of playing austinTEXLH? This guy apparently hasn't turned his PS2 off since buying the game in July. I'm a self-proclaimed loser with 163 games under my belt, but this guy makes me look like Jay-Z with his 412-139 record.

But this guy is just annoying as f***. Every little thing that doesn't go his way he has to pause it and say how much BS it is and throw in a couple lol's. Or he tells me how I have to rely on luck to win. And he's not even good. He quit after throwing his 4th pick down 27-10 late in the third quarter. His game is completely reliant on a) option, b) Impact HB (in this case McFadden) and C) the occasional deep ball off playaction to his giant impact receiver. And his defense is the usual fool around with every pinch-slant-blitz combo possible to try to get immediate pressure.

Anyway, I tacked on a few scores to beat him 48-10, so that felt pretty good, but I still had a little to vent...

sounds like a chump, but atleast you whipped his butt. I don't play "play now" games anymore because of all the bs players out there. It's easier to just get on a forum like this and just make friends to play. Playing online is so much better, even when you lose.

DanMan there really arnt as many bs players as you would think in play now games. I play "play now" games all the time and most guys definetly arnt spa straight but its not so bad that it ruins the game. Its pretty easy to tell whos cheesy by looking at their career. Ive only played 2 guys all year that were so bad I just quit. Maybe ive just been lucky.

I run alot of play now's as well. It isn't that bad most of the time.

You get alot of scramble and chuck, but once you get down the jetpack it is pretty easy to stop.

If you see a high SG% and high run % you know you are getting HB Direct.

If you see alot of blitz then you are probably getting alot of Nickle Fire Green.

If you get a person with a 30+ level and not very many games you have a clone glitcher.

Just avoid those people.

I have played several play nows lately as well. And I have not had too bad experience with it. In my very low game count I have found a lot of the play now people are not really that good. At all. I have maybe around 30 total games (but plan to change that soon.) and I have been beating guys with 40, 60, and 70+ wins. It seems a lot of play now(ers) :D have one or two things they depend on and if you can stop that it is over.

Like HH said, There is a good number of scramble and chuckers. Those are even in Madden not as bad but they are there. Nickel 3-3-5 CB dogs/fox blitz takes care of that. Either way they roll they have heat. And most are too "football challenged" to think for a minute and drop off to the flats. They just keep doing it over and over again. And I love it when they go for it on 4th and 28 on their own 4 yard line. I'll get a safety or a REAL easy score when they turnover on downs.

well i often go to play now too............ima level 29 with only about 100 game under my belt but im not a cloner.....rank carries over from the previous year as u can see on my carrer i was a level 20 on 06 when i was 83-6 and my blitz percent is between 45-50 percent but i never run nickel defense my defense is 4 2 5 mostly zone blitzes my and for my offense my SG percent is 0 same with my audibal percent as for my scramble hot route and no huddle all are under 0.6%
