I know the 3-4 defense doesn't operate properly. The NT doesn't occupy 2 blockers like he is supposed to do in real life. However the 3-4 is kind of fun to use because it is different and a lot of guys haven't played against it. I really have to sell out against the run to stop it. I found 1 play, but anymore would be greatly appreciated. The 3-4 Stack Thundersmoke is pretty good, but PA will hurt that play. However it does a decent against the run. What are some other successful run plays from you 360 guys?

All you do is start threads in hopes of getting free tips.

Hold up lil dude. First of all you don't know me. Next, I have replied to several posts on this site. I thought the purpose of this site was to discuss strategy offensively or defensively. I GUARNTEE I will beat you, whether I use 3-4 or 4-3. If you don't have any suggestions to a question you don't have to reply. I'm not looking for free tips, several guys have sent me private messages and I've offered my help to them. Speak what you know or else don't speak! I'm just looking for advice on things people have tried with the 3-4 (360).

run a search....
Daone did a thread using the 3-4 and in it he outlines how he likes to stop the run. Other guys posted their ideas as well. It's called the "calvinandhobbes guide" to something or whatever I can't remember the last bit...

I support FROGG on this. People this is the holiday season so why not share if you got something. Peeps need to get off their high horse. Ain't none of us getting paid as coordinators so get real.
With that said, one thing I've noticed is that if the OLB and ILB to the same side blitz usually the OG will chase the OLB who is coming off the edge. This off course opens up a gap inside.

I only judge by what you do. And I consistently see threads by you trying to get plays and or tips. THAT is what I KNOW. As far as you being able to beat me is concerned, you probably could, as I am not exactly that good yet. I don't see how that makes me less able to see how you are consistently begging on the site.

I have no issues with sharing. But when ONE person is always starting new threads, pushing ones with actual info down, I have issues with that.

if your having problems with play action, all you have to do is pass commit with any type of blitz or sometime linemen will just get through on coverage play. so keep callin yo 3-4 D and just do pass commit and reality has a great 3-4 run d is recently put on filmroom.

The problem with that is that you sometimes hitstick when you try to commit and you end up leaving a guy wide open as a result.

Jmichura, hold up a second! I don't know what beef you have with me, but once again we can settle it on the sticks. I think I ask very good questions. Besides, what's the purpose of this site? (O and D strategy right?) I don't see anything that you add to this site. I also would be willing to bet you a shiny new dime that nobody sends you a PM asking for your advice. Now, if you don't like the questions I ask, don't respond it's very simple. As far as begging goes, play me and we'll see who begs. I will destroy you far and square and hopefully that will close your mouth!

Hey man, you keep pointing to the sticks as if I think I am all that. Like I said, you can probably beat me. But what does that prove with regards to how many threads you start asking for tip? Or are you so dense that you can't grasp this concept? How does winning at Madden make it any less true that you like to start a bunch of threads asking for info? How does beating me at Madden make me less likely to state the obvious that you do?
I don't have beef with you. I don't mind having the occasional thread asking for adivce. In fact, I like it when people ask for advice. I also like it when people like you start threads to get discussions going. That isn't the problem. The problem is that you start so many threads that is pushes down the ones that have useful information.

It seems to me that the purpose of this site is to discuss strategies and learn from discussions. I see no problem in someone asking questions and learning from responses. If someone is having a particular problem with a defense and would like to start a thread concerning it I see no valid reason why he/she should not be able to do so. Why someone would question that is beyond me. There are some good players out therewho are willing to help and that is a nice part of this community. If you do not ask questions then how can you get answers you are looking for? Trial and error is fine but it sure takes a heck of a lot less time to be shown the way than it does to muddle around in the dark trying to figure something out.

Like I said, it isn't the fact that he starts these threads that the problem. The problem is that he starts so many and at times he starts one when one already exists. He is ismply pushing those threads down by starting new ones all the time.

Just scroll down and click. Then respond to whatever thread you want to respond to and then it will be back at the top. So simple even a baby could understand!

Thanks man! I'm glad to see I'm not the only who recognizes the fact that he whines and complains about my threads. If I had something to say about his little 49ers or their playbook he would be fine.

But it hampers people's ability to read other threads.

Yes, that's right, you got me. I am just sore because the might frogg hasn't responded to my 49ers thread. More examples of your shotty reasoning.

Lil' guy, you desperately need a life. As you can see there are two other posts on this thread that agree with me. Therefore, calm down and move on. It's not that big of a deal!

don't sweat the small stuff man. It's only a VG. we're all here b/c we like to play the game and would like to learn a thing or two from other madden fans.....If the guy doesn't have anything to contribute now, that's fine, everyone has to learn somehow. It will make him a better player down the road and he can contribute then....no big deal....

Look man, I will settle this once and for all. I have no problems with you asking or giving help. It is good for the community and I support it. However, you have started multiple 3-4 D threads, one of which I even responded to. Instead of doing that, why not just bump the thread so that all the info is in one place rather than being scattered?
It just seems like you asked for help on about the 3-4, didn't get enough replies and then decided to wait a little bit to start another instead of just bumping one of your old ones. That is where the "begging" comment came from.
