WR fade route

There's a play in some type of singleback bunch formation where a reciever runs a diagonal fade route. Whether I play man or zone he seems to be always left alone for an easy 15 yard play. I have to literally be the safety and move back to stop this when he has a fast reciever but I hate how that opens up the field for run plays. Is this a glitch in the game or is their a better adjustment i need to do?

Try spreading your safeties' zones out before the snap.

Press "A" for coverage audible and then hit "UP" on the RIGHT ANALOG.

are you manually defending the route, or letting the CPU defend. That could be the difference.
