Solid base defenses vs GOALINE?

I was playing a level 22. He's the Seahawks and Im the Bears. We played 2 games and he rushed for like 250 in both. The guy sucked at everything except for goaline offense. I was picking goaline defense, but sometimes if my CB's get pancaked, Im in trouble. I need a few pointers to slow down these encounters. Is it better to have your cbs close to the te's, or are they suppose to be lined up outside? What are some solid base defenses? I dont mind giving up like 2,3, or 4 yards per carry b/c eventually you can stop them on 3rd or 4th down, but I cant stand giving up Home Run's from people who run goaline on 1st down!!!!!

i need help vs this as well. i tried that new quarter nano but 1: it isnt in my best pb(bal ravens)
2: anyone who just hikes it quickly can beat it because it takes awhile for the safety get down in the box

i just played a game vs a guy using the titans and that was the ONLY thing he could do. he had no d and goaline was his only o. he ended up with about 250 on the ground the final was like 74 to 56(hate that) i won though. the whole time i was calling 46 inside blitz, 46 2 man under, and mixed in goaline, but i couldnt consistently stop it. the reason why i won the game was because i got lucky and forced him to pass and user picked him for a td. i would have lossed if i didnt make that pick.


what do you guys call to stop that? also, when i watch madden nation, most of their games are low scoring. how? i see a lot of them run out of goaline and other power formations as well but How do they play such good d? from what i saw it didnt even have to do with their user stick and making picks it was all about run d.

You can also try 3-4 Solid Sting Pinch and shift LB to the right and crash the line to the right.

The Madden Nation show doesn't use 5 minute quarters. Also, I would guess that they are playing on All-Madden and not All-Pro, which is the level for ranked matches. Against the goalline offense I like to call 4-6 3 Deep. Seems to work well for me.
