I'm only 26, but being married with 2 kids, I tend to relate better with the "experienced" crowd. ;)

age = how long you been here, not your state of mind.

Pretty funny though, i remember as a teen when i thought 30 was old. Now at 47 i know how stupid it was to think that. hell i was able to do more physically at the ge of 33 than i was at 18.

Consider that people are healthier and living into their 80's, 90's and even 100's it's fair to say that the definition of "old" has changed. Drastically.

You are only as old as you feel, right guys. One of the nice things about gaming is that it is one area where age is not really as relevant as it would be in a traditional sport. Those of us in our 30s can be just as good at Madden, or really any game for that matter, as our 20 something counterparts. Our problem is that we can't invest as much time into playing as the younger crowd can.

I love the idea of this forum. I grew up with video games and it is awesome to see how far things have progressed since the days of the Atari 2600. If you look at Madden on the 360 or PS3, and then think back to "Football" for the 2600, it truly is amazing how far gaming has come in 30 years. When you are 38, its easy to feel somewhat alone with respect to having a passion for something that a great number of people still associate with a geek's hobby. After reading a few of these posts, I realize there are more people out there exactly like me so that's very cool indeed.
