The best play for run or pass has to be the 4-6 bear cover2.
It works really well if you have a fast defense. The safetys start out up close so if he thinks you can burn you deep and your safetys are fast its a pick or a deflection. And the 4-6 is so intimidating to run against and it maintains almost all runs to 5 yards or less. If there is one play I go to on defense it is this one. Lab it and tell me what you think.

i know this isnt the best play, but daone u cant just say that and make it sound like a weak d. if anyone tells you the play you are running you can do this.

im running a 46 engage 8: "this is what i think, im just gonna hit my rb in the flats"

im running 34 cover 2 zone: "this is what i think, im just going to hit my wr on a deep post route 25 yards everytime"

im running 43 2 man under no bump: "this is what i think, im just going to hit my wr on a 10 yard curl 1st down every time maybe more"

im running quarters prevent: "this is what i think, im just gonna hit my wr on a screen every time. 15 yards a pop."


this defense is perfectly fine when mixed up with others and when the offense doesnt know it. daone if you played him and that was the only defense he called sure that would work fine but if he mixes it in than you cant just call your play every time.

please just dont act like his d is weak and he should never run that play and that your o would tear that up.
