I'm ppretty good now using hot routes, motions, lead blocker ect. but i need help on d i'm a wreck! I give these streak routes a couple times a game i tried to bat it down with y which explains my troubles there but how do you do 2 man under is it a play or a pre snap audible also how do you use run/pass commit and what is the bump and run, how do you position your cb's i'm sure learning all this will improve my d. some games that should be blowouts i'm just barley getting by in. thanks for ur help

run/pass commit - right after the snap you flick the R-Analog up for pass and down for run commits. Sometimes it hitsticks instead though =/

Bump and Run - Press A and then down on d-pad or left stick. It has the corners get closer to the WRs and Jam/Bump them at the line of scrimmage to mess up the timing of routes. It's normally used with blitzes to stop the QB from throwing it quickly.

Im still learning myself but Ill try and help out. First i would highly reccommend you pick up the virtual playbook from VG. It breaks down everything your asking and tons more. it has helped me out alot. As for your questions

1. 2 man under is a base defense. You basically have both safeties playing deep and spliting the deep coverage of the field in half. (on the play you will see the ss/fs with blue zones spilt wide) Everyone else is in man coverage. You can run this with every formation 4-3, nickle, quarter etc. Very popular D many use it as a base to figure out what people like to run then adjust has the game goes on.

2. Bump and run is just has your man stated up top.

3. Run/pass commit is just like your man stated up top. I dont use this much for the reason he stated you will hit stick if you dont time it right. Never use it for run but if I play someone that does play action a lot and its an obvious pass situation Ill use it.

4. Positioning of the corners? Im not sure what your asking on that one. I usually freeze my D (A + LT) this makes them stay where they are and helps hide man or zone if they dont use motion. If someone starts spreading me out and hitting me with quick passes ill man everyone up with some delay bump and bring some pressure normally cover 1 never cover 0.

Get the filmroom and the playbook if you can you wont be disappointed.
