My friend uses the Colts and his bread and butter play as of late is a play he runs out of the close-Weak form or any of the other weak forms he has in his playbook...
Where he is is getting me is with Marvin his #1wr coming across the middle and at the same time his #2wr wanye is also coming across the middle, but a bit deeper route...his 3rd option would be his HB on a flat to the strong side.
Just wondering what kind of D would you use to defend his two main routes, that are his 1 and 2 wide outs across the middle...
What should i do?

Well in man defense, Marvin Harrison's 95+ Awr and 94 speed, will shake any CB in the game.
But I would try running a cover 1 where the MLB is in a yellow zone. (example Nickel 3-3-5 Cover 1)
Your cb's are playing man d.
Another thing you could do is click on the DT or DE.
Lightly use the dpad/analog to Stand him up and then put him in a yellow zone and then put him back down. You'll notice that the yellow zone will look different.
What you should see is just a yellow area ONLY around that player. (De/DT)
The normal yellow zones the player drops back a few yards and they will try to keep the WR's in front of them. This yellow zone is great for guarding drags. The dt/de will take one step and just stay there underneath.

If he throws alot of short passes, try cover 2. The biggest downfall to cover 2 is the deep pass. The cover 2 also has alot of holes in it, but it can be a very effective d if you can get some heat on the qb. That is a very important key to running cover 2. If there is no heat, you're burnt. You need a team with good de's. I would match up with him with the ravens. Suggs and Price are good pass rushers, plus you have smart LB's and one of the best secondaries in the game. Also, the right side of Indys line is weak, try de swapping Suggs and Price. Suggs seems to get in quiker than Price.
I'm not a fan of cover 2, but it is a good d for all the underneath stuff, that is what it was designed for.
