This ties in with your post about diet. As I mentioned, I dropped 35 lbs on Nutrisystem and now I am trying to get toned up and add some muscle back on. If you are like me and are too busy to go to the gym, look into some of the Beachbody programs, such as Power 90, which is what I am currently doing. They have a fat burning formula called Performance Formula that is good. It doesn't make you all jittery and you feel pretty good.

The thing is that there is no pill out there that will just melt fat away without exercise. Some will block carbs or excess fat, and most will raise your metabolism but without a solid exercise regimen you will probably not get the results you are looking for. Trust me on this one. I used to be a personal trainer before I became an attorney and I tried a bunch of supplements back in the good old days.

Another good fat burner is Hydroxycut. I am sure there are others out there but those are the only two I have used.

I hope that helps.

fat burners arent worth it.... they only thing they cut is the amount of cash in your wallet.

the number one way to cut fat is to decrease the amoung of calories from fat in your diet and to eat several meals per day.

by eating small meals every 3 hours your body will never go into a "starving" state. duringt hat state your body will produce glucose, which if not burned will turn into body fat.

the most important thing to do when cutting fat is to cut out bad fats and to eat alot of small meals.

Try Super B Complex or Fish Oil tablets.
They are natural and give you a pick me up without all the caffeine and chit. I believe Fish Oil helps blood circulate better through your body. A buddy of mine told me about it and I tried it out and it works good for me.
I was having trouble with being tired all the time because of my job, and my Mom told me to try the Super B Complex. She said your dad has been taking it for years. I tried it and I haven't been tired since.
I think I have tried all the fat burners. Just for a pick me up when I have those days that are dragging. JJ is right in my eyes they just take your money and give you a caffenine buzz.

thats the truth right there... everything is useless unless u change your diet and excersize... another good thing to do is to stop drinking soda's/coffee/ect... drink tons of water...and best to burn calories during working out is by getting your heart rate up... if you just goto the gym and just do crunches and bench or biceps for looks.. youll never lose weight.

Find a competitive outlet that involves exercise, and do it.

One of the best ideas yet. I was talking to Warren about this very thing last week on IM.

Get a few buds, grab a football and take turns playing QB, WR and DB. Everyone works out and its not boring.

Fat burners are not worth it. Proper diet and a sound exercise program will do the trick. Also you have to factor in rest.

I have to agree with mightypharaoh and GAV. Last year i was thinking of doing the fat burners. Then I realized thats the easy way out. I was not really going to fix the true problem. Thats when Rico started the VG biggest loser and I lost 57LBS. Then mightypharaoh jumped in with some work out tips and there I was. Now I have gained some back however, I set a goal for myself to be at a certain weight by the end of 06 and sure enough thats where I was. This year I'm doing the same. I have set a goal for year end weight and I had better be there. It takes a lot of dedication. When you see the weight coming off though it just keeps you moving forward!!!
