It's been an up and down road this year, but he played a full season, and out of everyone he deserved it the most.

I agree, he was left for dead by most in the media.

I'm curious to see how many votes Buckhalter got. Pennington deserved it though. Glad to see he proved all the critics wrong.

Congrats to my boy, he deserved it, he was left for dead. All the stuff I said about his lack of an arm hurting us against the better teams and him having an inability to beat the better teams, I still maintain. I can still congratulate and appreciate his hard work and the fact that he was an instrumental part in this team's success. I still hope that Kellen Clemens comes in and takes the job away next TC, because they say he has CP like intangibles but the other half of the playbook would open up :D

LOLOL when did I switch sides????? I said I would like to see Kellen. Does that I mean I dont support Penny??? No. Ill always support my starting QB no matter who he is, and i happen to like ours more than any other player in the NFL. But that being said I look at things from a realistic standpoint. CP has always struggled BIG TIME vs top D's, im not talking about like 13 or 16 pts struggle. In 04 the CP led Jets averaged 4.5 PPG against top 10 defenses. Come on, thats pathetic. These are my main negative thoughts about CP:

1)His lack of arm strength severely restricts what we can do as an offense.
2)His lack of arm cuts the playbook in half
3)he comes up small in the biggest games (OAK 2002, PIT 2004, NE every year before this one, ETC)
4)His patented floaters are gonna lead to someone being carried off on a stretcher sooner or later

Positives
1)When hes on the field, he has a command of the offense, and the trust of the players around him
2)He is as cerebral a QB as there is in the NFL
3) he runs this offense to a tee, although he doesnt have that much experience
4)hes good for 1 offsides penalty a week due to his snap count :D
5) When hes on the field we win more than we lose

I always supported CP as a player, supported him throughout his comeback, since thats what Im supposed to do CONSIDERING HES THE STARTING QB of my favorite football team. Because I called for him to be benched doesnt change any of that
