This is from FOXSports.com's hot rumors (http://www.benmaller.com/nfl_rumors_notes) page

Saturday’s game will feature a pair of former Minnesota Vikings assistants who have had pretty good success on their own as head coaches. Brian Billick was the Vikings’ offensive coordinator from 1993-96. Indianapolis coach Tony Dungy, meanwhile, served as Minnesota’s defensive coordinator from 1992-95. Interestingly, the strong point of Billick’s current team is defense, while Dungy has one of the league’s best offenses.

Did You Know? Jim Mora, Dennis Green, Marty Schottenheimer, and Tony Dungy are among a handful of coaches in NFL history that have won 100 games and posted a losing record in the playoffs.

Did You Know? Pats QB Tom Brady does not throw interceptions in the postseason. He’s thrown just 5 INTs in 401 postseason pass attempts (1.25 percent) – the lowest rate in NFL history. Green Bay Hall of Fame quarterback Bart Starr, perhaps the most underappreciated QB in history, threw just 3 INTs in 213 postseason pass attempts (1.41 percent). He had a postseason record of 9-1.

Did You Know? The Ravens gave up just 17 sacks this year, five since Brian Billick took over as the team’s offensive play calling duties Oct. 29.

In Super Bowl Era postseason play:

• Teams that toss fewer than 2 INTs are 305-149 (.672).
• Teams that toss 2 or more INTs are 66-219 (.232).

Hall of Famer Dan Marino, universally proclaimed as the best passer of his generation, and perhaps of all time, provides a perfect individual case study:

• The Dolphins were 7-1 in postseason play when Marino threw fewer than 2 INTs.
• The Dolphins were 1-9 in postseason play when Marino threw 2 or more INTs.

How About That? Cold Hard Football Facts looked at every postseason game of the Super Bowl Era (371 games through the 2006 wild-card round) and discovered that:

• Teams that toss more TD passes than their opponents are 198-56 (.780 winning percentage).

• Teams that toss fewer interceptions than their opponents are 248-52 (.827 winning percentage).

Who Knew? Tom Brady and Joe Montana are the only two QBs in history who have had 10 more postseason wins than losses. Montana at one point in his career had a 14-4 postseason record (heading into the 1990 NFC title game, that aforementioned loss to Belichick and the Giants). He increased his mark to 16-5 with Kansas City in the 1993 playoffs – +11 in the win-loss column – before losing the final two games of his postseason career to finish with a 16-7 postseason record. Brady, of course, was 10-0 in the playoffs before losing to Denver last year. Following Sunday’s win over the Jets, he’s now 11-1 … the only quarterback in NFL history, as of this moment, with 10 more wins than losses in postseason play.

How About That? If the Patriots can beat San Diego they will become the winningest postseason franchise in NFL history (among organizations with 10 or more playoff games). New England now boasts an 18-11 (.621) postseason record. That’s second all-time to the Packers (24-14; .632). With a win over the Chargers, New England’s postseason record will be 19-11, a winning percentage of .633.
