Using the Redskins

Being a staunch Skins fan i use only them all the time. Infact, i've never used another team or playbook. I want to make their team and their playbook work for me to the max and take advantage of everything their offense offers. I have the Redskins playbook, compression 201 and the filmroom.

What i'm beginning to have my doubts about is how good of a team are they in madden 07? How do they stack up against everyone else. My record is something like 42-89 and i've been getting murdered lately. I can't seem to stop anything on defense. It seems like other teams running backs and defense are better than mine. The running game bails me out/keeps it close when i REALLY use it during a game heavy but if i don't and pass more i get smoked. Seems as if any and all recievers are blanketed and the blitz is breathing down my neck on every pass--evenwith only 4 down lineman!!! The defensive ends will take a wide angle and float right past my tackles. It's really becoming not fun anymore. I'm getting angry and disillusioned over a GAME--christ sakes!!

What i'm really asking is am i short changing myself by being them?

You Just Have To Know How To Use Them! They Have An Unbelieveable Running Back! On Defense, Sean Talor At Saftey Over The Deep Middle And Adam Archuletta Playing A Hook Zone In An Eight Man Front Is Sick! Use A Coverv 1 On Defense. On Offense, With What You Said Is Happening To You, Run The Compression Or The Spread As It Will Naturally Get Somebody Ope. Also, Hb Screens W/ Portis Are Mean!!!

1 problem. Can't use portis cause he's on IR. When i bought the game a month ago it automatically loaded the updated rosters. It only allows me to use ladell betts. .

i enjoy using the redskins . i have been able to run all over people , i love the offense except the random bad passes you get . the one thing i do not like is the defense is slow , so if i have to go up against someone like vick i tend to have trouble . but the run offense is great with the redskins . i love to use alot of two tight ends , big formations with the run , the run blocking is great and portis is the man . i think betts isnt that bad .

weak ***** utilize moss lloyd and randel el and you got ****ing chris cooley how can you suck with that and you have sean taylor and adam archeleta you just plain weak as hell son

Adam archuletta is suspect his coverage is some ****.... i usually jus bring him down to the line and back shawn springs up against the #1 recevier unless i see he is always sending him deep then i just put archuletta in the deep 3rd just incase but u have to use ur weapons effectively i know moss is fast but he isnt tall so he can only catch a bomb but so often send him to the post and send him on drags and watch him outrun the def, and it doesnt matter what type of running scheme you got clinton portis gives me 150 every game on maybe 15-25 carries

Are you guys using Brunell or Campbell? JC is still too erratic for me as far where he puts the ball. I can't seem to get my rhythm going with him.

Also, I use Troy Vincent as my other safety. My problem lies with Carlos getting beat deep, even with ST helping over the top.

with updated rosters i use Jason campbell because he has a 65 speed rating i think, and thats good enough to pick up first downs on 3 n etc but his arm isnt that bad its just he cant make the same throws the other qbs can. But, if you run a play and you have an idea of who is going to be open then he is good money

I guess I just need to work with Campbell and get his timing down since he's starting this year. i hope they raise his AWR a little for '08.
