I was playing a guy that was surprisingly cool to talk with, sharing ideas and what not. I ended up winning the game, but in the first two drives, he picked off balls that looked pretty darn open.
Anyway, I asked him how he went about getting to those balls, and he says that he just waits for the instant the QB throws the ball, then quickly pushes B, then Y. Without knowing who he's switching to, he says the gets tons of INT's that way. A little scheme adjustment killed him, but that technique surprised me. Pretty easy. Does that actually work?
For the really strong D players, what techniques do you use for picks? Do you prefer to swat the ball down, or do you go for a lot of INT's? I tend to be a swat guy, because the moment I gamble, I'm toasty.
Anybody know any really good ways to practice getting the pick?
