situations to run the 1-5-5

Do you know what situations and offensive forms that the 1-5-5 norm. and prowel should be used in, when should you use it?

And what should you do if your on offense and someone comes out in this? My first instict is to run on it. I haven't played some one that is good at this formayion and some help would be nice. Thanks.

I use it on 3rd and long. I had one guy tried to run outside but it got blown up. It is weak up the middle.
