Hey guys,
I figured this was as good a place as any to post this because we as "old folks" can appreciate it.

I haven't been on much (not that I post a lot anyways) because I've been working on my online store, Pete's Hats. Here is a little background on it.

Pete's Hats began as an idea that my father and I had a few years ago to sell men's hats. We never had it materialize due to the fact of me always working a "real job", but the idea stuck with me. We were both avid "hat men", often trying to outdo one another with hats that we found or purchased.

After I got married in September of 2002, my dad unfortunately passed in December of the same year. While my wife and I own our own business, I decided to finally do something about this "idea" that had been in my head and deeply embedded in my heart for a long time. And so, Pete's Hats, named after my Dad, became a reality that I hope you will enjoy.

Check it out! Not sure if I can give the address or not, so Click Here! (http://www.peteshats.com) or on the logo and tell me what you think. Right now I only ship CONUS, but anyone overseas fancies something they might like send me a note.

Sweet man. I love Kangols and that style. Doesn't have to be a Kangol. I see you have some Cubaveras. Why is shipping so much though? I need a plain white one. By accident my white Kangol Blue went throught he wash. When it came out it looked like a yarmukah.

Glad you like it. That's the shipping and handling that we charge, and it's shipped Priority. We do have a discount if you order more than one hat though.

Sorry for the delay.

We haven't had any real problems so far, thank God. I have had a couple of returns, but as long as you state what you're return policy is, you shouldn't have any problems. We ship US Priority and people normally get their items in about 3 days

No, it's not my primary source of income, just a little piece of the financial empire I'm trying to build.:D

My wife and I own our own business company, DarCon LLC, that includes my hat business as well as a professional bartending service, Bartending Unlimited. I still have a full time job, but those 2 things happen to be things that I enjoy doing and I figured I may as well try to generate revenue from them as well.

The ebay store itself will run you $15 bucks a month as well as the fees for having your items listed in the store. You may want to find out what your break-even point is based on what you want to sell.

There is nothing better than making money doing something you like. Keep building that empire and I wish you and your wife much success!

Thanks man, I appreciate it.. Although it is technically against the law for me to be talking to you based on your helmet. :D

I know man! I like to see people making progress and/or following their dreams. On a serious note we will beat the skins in November and week 17.

You wanna hear something funny? My wife is a Dallas fan. How in the hell did I do that?
There is internal strife in my house from August to January.
