Team VS Vick

There has been much discussion about plays to use vs. Vick/Young. I would like to know what team you guys think is best vs. the Falcons. I think a team like the Broncos would be best. Fast Linebackers and fast Cornerbacks. It seems useless to try and spy with a team that has slow LBs. I have a friend who will either come out in Double TE sets or I Normal and playaction to Lelie. If the PA is not there, he will take off running.

i dunno, just take a look at the teams that everyone says has the best defense and there ya go. id say stopping vick is more about schemes and good blitzes with outside containment then the team you use (with some exceptions of course)

I love playing with my boys, the Buffalo Bills. However, against Vick, that's a tough deal. Baltimore's defense is way too fast for Vick abusers. If you use your contain principles, it's not even fair against the Ravens.

I agree I have been running into alot of vick users and abuser and I usually use the bears or the ravens and run a good spy like 4-3 for 2 recievers I have only had one guy rush for a total of 70 yards with vick and that was because I ran out of time and the cpu piicked my play.

when they come out 3 or 4 reciever set I use a 4-3 under 4 buzz spy which doesnt allow him to run for a big gain if he runs or they have run around in circles and hope a reciever gets open.

Vick is a very tricky player. People are always worried of his run but even if you contain him with blitzes and spies. he can still buy time and beat any defense you put out, your D will break down in about 6-7 seconds and its easy to get that much time with Vick. If you vs. a good Vick user you WILL have lots of trouble.

i agree with KTS on this one. I dont really care who i am against the falcons because it mostly comes down to playcalling. freeze the d everytime and throw in a zone blitz and he is going to be toast. If he playactions to lelie all the better. Pass commit and he is eaten alive before he even gets the chance to run. i almost would rather play someone who is the falcons or titans cause their accuracy is garbage and once you have them on the run its a user pick all day

I agree. McNabb is a TON more difficult to defend than Vick because you play him as a pocket passer effectively.
