I watched that and he did swing his arm but it wasnt a punch. It didnt look intentional to me when it occured. In no way should he be suspended for a game for that though.

I will be the arbiter here and say no Kobe should not be suspended and it is a crock. That being said I think the Lakers will be dangerous down the road but I believe we will be ready for them come playoff time if we meet.

What to finesh .500? Being in the east helps all the average teams. Nearly every Playoff team in the west would be close to a #1 seed in the east. Sure Wade and company have a shot to make a splash in the playoffs, but they are not a championship team this year. Shaq hurt his knee pretty bad, he may never be the same again.

After they split up, Shaq 1 ring, Kobe 0 rings.
I know you are a fired up Laker fan, but dont let it blind you my friend. Dont make the mistake of promising a Laker championship.
It will save you the hassle of coming on here posting about how the refs cheated you, or something else other than them getting carried out the playoffs as usual.

Kobe get one game suspension for ACCIDENTLY hit manu's face while bruce bowen did not get suspended when steve francis landed on bowen's foot and sprained his ankle. both acts are freak accident yet one situation calls for suspension while one other isn't ? :confused:

i just saw what happened on youtube for the first time. kobe did it on purpose. being a bball player myself, i know that no one slings their arm back like that after they shoot. he should have been following through, instead...him and his big head thought " i'm kobe bryant. i can't be blocked..." so he slung his arm back in retaliation. he even walked off the court looking pissed off, giving teammates 5's, and no remorse in his face.
now the matt miller elbow incident i believe was an accident (also on youtube). kobe immediately was reaching down to help him up, not caring about what happened with the ball once it was passed.

kobe is a punk cheap-shop if he doesn't get his way...he thinks he's the greatest, but he's just a ball hog. anyone that scores 81 points with like 2 assists is doing nothing for the team...only himself.

I'm not a Kobe fan either especially when it comes to my boy Manu :mad:. However it appears to me after Manu blocks the shot that Kobe was slightly fading away from the ball and the basket. So when he swung his arms out it appeared to be in an effort to gather himself to try and get the ball back to try and get off another shot. Note he never takes his eyes off the ball and came close to getting the second shot off. I don't think it was intentional nor should he have been suspended.
