I have already bought the NCAA virtual playbook but I don't play NCAA anymore. First off, could I trade in my NCAA playbook and get the Madden one for free since I already payed for NCAA.

My suggestion is that for 08, if a person buys the virtual playbook for either madden or ncaa, they could get the other one half-off. This would save people money and you might get even more buyers.

Another suggestion is, if a person gets 1,000 posts on this forum that are legitimate posts and been a member for at least 1 year, then they should get 1 of the virtual playbooks free. This would encourage more people to sign up for the forum and would encourage more people to post things on the forum that they are borderline about sharing.

I hope these are taken into consideration and one of them or both are chosen for next year.

Not so far :)

We will offer a package deal next year for both products where you can get a bit of a discount.

We won't be giving out free books to forum members with 1000 posts. That will just encourage spamming the forums. We make work up some other kind of reward system though for quality posters. I'd be open to suggestions for that.

As far as trading NCAA for Madden, that just isn't going to happen. It's not fair to me or my staff to be honest. You got NCAA, got the value out of the guide and then moved on. We can't be a blockbuster of strategy guides where you just rent the guide for a while and then get another one.

Otherwise we just might as well not do an NCAA guide at all. If EA starts giving you a free Madden game each year when you get tired of NCAA, then maybe we'll take a look at that. I'm sorry if I sound like a jerk here, but I have to pay my staff for their work on each guide. They put in a TON of hours, especially with the NCAA playbooks this year.

We are looking at the possibility of a "Year Pass" kind of deal where you could get access to everything that VG has to offer for the year for one rate. Playbooks, Filmroom, Add on Guides, etc. But I have to get a really solid idea of what guides will be coming out and such before I can make that a reality.

That would definately a great idea.

Ok bert, thanks for answering me. I understand where you are coming from about the prices and your suggestions sound great. If anyone else has suggestions then post them on here like discounts or something.

I have an idea that you guys may find intersting here. I was wondering if next year or perhaps by the end of this year VG can come out with an anti-glitch guide!. A guide that offers counter plays to some of the top used, annoying and cheap plays in madden for this/next year. Im talking about the counters to the high pass, quick pass, QB Sneak(s) and any others you can come up with, like the when the FB misses his block when the defender is coming full-speed in font of him. Also with added tips on how players can improve thier stick skills for when for some reason the Defender just doesnt go up and swat or intercept balls when thier clearly in front of the WR and has a gaurenteed shot at making a play on it. And how you can stop rubbing between the defender and reciever. Im not saying go all out like the virtual or compression guides just a one chapter add-on with like 5 plays for each glitch you can think of as well as a little tibit of why you guys think that a certain play is a glitch.

P.S-The reason why this guide would be a good idea is because every guide you guys release, im positive serves great purpose to alot of people(like the virtual guide with me) and improves thier game drasticially. However when we have to deal with stopping glitches it takes the fun out of madden and the things we learn from your guides go out the window becuase some bum-head opponent wants a cheap win and use A.I malfunctions to disrupt your playing experiance  . Hope you guys consider it.

THNX.

First I would like to thank the VG Sports Team for there hard work. Over the years my game has improve, but there is always room for improvement. The one thing that I would to see in 2008 guide is a review of practical schemes. For example I notice in Kobra's introduction to the Redskins Offensive Guide, he talks about the Angle Fade Route vs Man Coverage. I never knew that you could perform this route through a series of hot routes.

Another thing that I would like to see in the Virtual Guide for 2008 would be; all of Kobra's and other VG Sports Team member tips that are displayed throughout the year. With all of the tips presented in the guide you don't miss out on useful information that would possibely apply in the next game.

That would be more of a filmroom type of guide bundled into one.
